miyuki's last night in tokyo

one day in Oct.:

after leaving hometown when she was 18, she lived alone in yokohama and then in tokyo more than 10 years just like me.

but this year she suddenly decided to leave tokyo and go back her hometown, hamamatsu.

coz she felt she had done all she could in tokyo.

after i heard her decision and thought, there was something made me think about too...

then we spent together her last night in tokyo celebrating her new departure and i kept shootin' her.

she visited me last week before she went on a trip to taiwan.

when i showed her this photo, she said she liked much.

fuchu art museum

I went to the museun to watch open work by Ryudai Takano, a photographer.

A temporary darkrrom is being built and people have free access there while he is printing during the event.

(The staff advises people trying to enter the darkroom to open the dark curtain softly by the entrance.)

I enjoyed watching how he printed in the darkroom and how much time he took to finish one photograph more than three hours straight...!

There was just no opportunity to observe others printing recently, so it was fun.

May 5th is my dad's birthday. this year he changed to 65.

i gave him photographs i took last year and printed recently as birthday present. he just kept looking into them for a while, then he fell asleep there... it seemed he liked them.
